Soprano Cornet
The soprano cornet is a high-pitched cornet in E flat. It would be quite rare for a student to come along to your school concert band with one. These instruments are not usually given to beginner players, as they are difficult to play - a bit like a piccolo trumpet. It would be more likely that you might find a senior student who plays soprano cornet in a brass band, and in this instance, they may also have a B flat cornet or trumpet.
If you do have a student who arrives to your concert band with a soprano cornet, they can play any treble clef music in E flat, however you should keep in mind that it should not be pitched too high. For example, the alto saxophone music often sits on top of the stave, and this would need to be taken down the octave. An alto clarinet part can work, however this part often follows the bass line, which is not always appropriate for the pitch of the soprano cornet.
